Just a little over a day after running back James Sims was arrested and hit with a drunk-driving charge, Weis announced that the junior-to-be will be suspended for the first three games of the 2012 season.  The stated reason was a violation of team rules, which obviously encompasses the operating a vehicle under the influence charge. The three games Sims will miss are all home games and includes one conference foe — South Dakota State, Rice and new Big 12 member TCU.
All three games would have been intriguing matchups. Stay away from him on draft day. Who knows how this will effect his motivation for the rest of the season.
